Care
- Wash
- Cold, inside out, with like colours. On its own the first time.
- Dry
- Tumble dry low.
- Iron
- Never over the print. Don't dry clean.
- Bleach
- Non-chlorine only.
- Expect
- Garment dye. Early washes can release a little colour onto pale fabrics, no two pieces are quite the same shade, and it fades gently by design. Barely shrinks — dyeing pre-shrinks it.
- Embroidery
- Heavy fleece holds it well.
Good to know
- A new print can smell faintly of vinegar, or carry a pale mark from the pre-treatment. Both wash out.
- Keep it out of direct sunlight before that first wash — the pre-treatment can sun-stain, and that doesn’t come out.
- No fabric softener. It dulls the print.
- On embroidery, iron around the stitching rather than over it. We’ve washed ours repeatedly and they’ve held up.

These are the garment’s own measurements, not body sizes — and one maker’s medium isn’t another’s, so it’s worth a look before you choose. Soft fabrics never cut quite identically, so allow a little either way.
Width is measured flat, underarm to underarm — double it for the full way round. Sleeve length is measured from the centre back of the neck to the cuff, so it reads longer than a shoulder-to-cuff figure. Garment dyeing pulls this one in a little — our fulfiller recommends one size up from your usual.

Garment-Dyed Sweatshirt
Garment-dyed heavyweight fleece — 9.5oz, a 100% cotton face over a soft fleece inside. Relaxed through the body, with forward-rolled shoulders, side seams and 1 × 1 rib at the collar, cuffs and waistband. The dyeing gives every piece a soft, worn-in look and pulls the fit in a little, so it runs small: size up for the relaxed look.
Cut
US fit and relaxed, but the garment dyeing pulls it in — it runs small, and our fulfiller recommends one size up from your usual.
Sensory notes
- Forward-rolled shoulder, so the seam sits just off the top of the shoulder.
- Twill tape inside the back neck.
- Side seams, with 1 × 1 rib at the collar, cuffs and waistband.
- Heavy at 9.5 oz (322 g/m²), with fleece inside.
- Worth knowing: the neck label is a sewn-in twill label, not tear-away.
- On an embroidered design, the reverse of the stitching has some texture inside.

If it arrives faulty
Damaged, misprinted or just wrong — that’s on us. Send your order number and a photo within 30 days of delivery and we’ll replace it or refund you in full. Not sure it counts? Tell us anyway.
If it isn’t right for you
Comfort is personal, and sometimes a piece just isn’t right once it’s on. There’s no rush to decide — give it a few wears and a wash, and if it still doesn’t suit you, tell us within 60 days. A replacement in the size you need, a different piece, or store credit. Having worn it won’t count against you.
