The sweatshirt: Stanley/Stella Roller, a unisex mid-weight crew (about 280 g/m²) in organic ring-spun cotton with some recycled polyester. Relaxed fit, ribbed collar, cuffs and hem. Printed to order. Runs a size large in the UK and Europe, so check the size chart.

- Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colours.

- Low heat, inside out, never over the print. Don't dry clean.

- The cloth is washed before the garment is made up, so it arrives soft rather than stiff.
- Embroidery
- The brushed face takes stitching well.
Good to know
- A new print can smell faintly of vinegar, or carry a pale mark from the pre-treatment. Both wash out.
- Keep it out of direct sunlight before that first wash — the pre-treatment can sun-stain, and that doesn’t come out.
- No fabric softener. It dulls the print.
- On embroidery, iron around the stitching rather than over it. We’ve washed ours repeatedly and they’ve held up.

These are the garment’s own measurements, not body sizes — and one maker’s medium isn’t another’s, so it’s worth a look before you choose. Soft fabrics never cut quite identically, so allow a little either way.
Width is measured flat, underarm to underarm — double it for the full way round. Sleeve length runs from the top of the set-in sleeve to the cuff. Our fulfiller notes that these sizes correspond to one size bigger in the UK and European market, so if you usually buy UK or European sizes, order a size down. This blank is made to two specifications — SASU010 for the US and STSU868 for Europe — and the figures above are the ones our fulfiller publishes.
How this one fits
Unisex Organic Sweatshirt
Mid-weight brushed fleece in a unisex medium fit, with set-in sleeves and 1 × 1 rib at the collar, cuffs and hem. The face is 100% organic cotton and the cloth is washed before the garment is made up, so it arrives soft rather than stiff. The rib is 100% cotton with no elastane in it, so it holds its shape without gripping. This one is made in two places: units made in the US are 80% organic cotton with 20% recycled polyester, and units made in Europe are 85% organic cotton with 15% recycled polyester.
Cut
Unisex medium fit — between relaxed and fitted — with set-in sleeves. It follows a US sizing convention: our fulfiller notes that each size corresponds to one size bigger in the European market, so if you usually buy UK or European sizes, order a size down.

If it arrives faulty
Damaged, misprinted or just wrong — that’s on us. Send your order number and a photo within 30 days of delivery and we’ll replace it or refund you in full. Not sure it counts? Tell us anyway.
If it isn’t right for you
Comfort is personal, and sometimes a piece just isn’t right once it’s on. There’s no rush to decide — give it a few wears and a wash, and if it still doesn’t suit you, tell us within 60 days. A replacement in the size you need, a different piece, or store credit. Having worn it won’t count against you.
